Sharon Washington

Sharon Washington has had a career spanning 30+ years on stage, and on the big and small screens. Film/tv credits include the Academy-Award winning Joker and Joker 2: Folie à Deux, Sing Sing, The Kitchen, Michael Clayton, and recurring roles on Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Bull, Blue Bloods, Law & Order and Law & Order:SVU.

Broadway credits include co-writing the book for the musical New York, New York for which she was nominated for a Tony Award and she appeared as a performer in The Scottsboro Boys. Off-Broadway credits include roles at the Public Theater/NYSF, the Vineyard Theater, Primary Stages, Roundabout and Lincoln Center Theatre among others. She has received multiple Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle and Audelco Award nominations.

She has performed at award-winning regional theaters around the country including: City Theatre, the Guthrie Theater, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Denver Center, Yale Rep and Arena Stage.

Sharon has recorded multiple Audible Original Theater productions including her own solo show Feeding The Dragon as well as numerous audiobook titles.

As a voice actor her work is represented by national campaigns for Pantene, Colgate Total and PGIM; as well as narration for several documentary series for Discovery, NOVA and PBS, including The Gods of Tennis and eight seasons of For My Man.
