Maurice LaMarche

Maurice LaMarche began doing standup comedy in his native Toronto in 1977. Moving to Los Angeles in 1980, he was soon balancing standup with voiceovers, and has since performed in over 100 animated series. He’s been Emmy-nominated five times for his voice acting: For “D.C. Follies” in 1990; for playing “The Brain” in “Pinky & The Brain” in 1999; and in 2011 and 2012, he won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for his work in “Futurama,” for which he’s nominated again this year. Commercially, he’s been Froot Loops’ Toucan Sam since 1987, and the Voice of Lexus since 2009.
