Jonathan Root is an actor, singer, musician, and voiceover artist. Notable credits include: Princeton/Rod in the Tony Award Winning Broadway musical “Avenue Q”; Drama Desk Award Winning Off-Broadway musical “The Toxic Avenger”; Notable TV credits include multiple appearances on “Brooklyn 9-9” and three Nickelodeon shows: “The Thundermans”, “Henry Danger”, and “Game Shakers.” He plays guitar, bass, can kinda play drums and piano in a pinch, and is a classically trained singer. He studied American Karate for years and has extensive stage combat training and experience. He likes to say accents are his specialty, but South African always trips him up.
