With a career spanning almost 30 years in stage, film and television, David has worked with Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Paul Greengrass, Shawn Levy, James Mangold, Robert Zemeckis, and Michael Patrick King, among others. You might know him from his 5 seasons playing the lead role of the hilariously neurotic dentist Dr. Stuart Gardner on “The Exes” on TV Land.

You’ve also seen him as a series lead in shows like “Lipstick Jungle,” “The Starter Wife,” and “Oh Grow Up.” Other TV appearances include “Lioness: Special Ops,” Bluff City Law,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Bull,” “The Blacklist,” “Blue Bloods,” “Chicago PD,” “Blindspot,” all of the “Law & Order” shows, and many more. He’s also somewhat notorious for doing “the crab” on the floor for Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin in “30 Rock.”

On film, David signed Timothee Chalamét to his first record deal (“A Complete Unknown”), called the title fight with Hugh Jackman (“Real Steel”), chased Matt Damon all over New York (“The Adjustment Bureau”), stole Tom Cruise’s wife (“War of the Worlds”), flirted with Julia Roberts (“Full Frontal”), and portrayed passenger Todd Beamer (“let’s roll!”) in in the Oscar nominated “UNITED 93.” You can also see David in the feature films “Equity” and “Egg,” which he produced with his wife actress Alysia Reiner, and despite that they somehow stayed married.
