Born and raised in Chicago, Ami Ankin is an actress and producer working across television, film, and theater, splitting her time between NYC and LA.

Ami can be heard nightly voicing promos for Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC, and across every WNBA broadcast.

Her extensive promo work includes The CW’s Katy Keene and Sight Unseen, as well as Masterpiece on PBS and On Her Turf for NBC. Ami’s national spots include everything from Toyota to Head & Shoulders, Playtex to Blue Cross Blue Shield, and L’Oréal to Cheerios.

Ami produced the award-winning film The Living Wake, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Jim Gaffigan, Ann Dowd and Mike O’Connell, and was part of the producing team for the Tony Award–winning Broadway musical Kinky Boots. Her producing background gives Ami a unique perspective on the creative process, making her an invaluable voice artist with a strong understanding of every role involved and what it takes to get the job done.
